911 Services
Responsibilities
The E911 (Enhanced 911) coordinator is responsible for maintaining the computer system that allows the various Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP) to receive your 911 calls. These PSAPs are staffed by the dispatchers and communications technicians that have handled your calls so well in years past. They are under the control of the fire, ambulance, and law enforcement agencies that they work for. This allows our county E911 to be one of the most cost effective systems in the United States.
