Services Provided

The primary responsibility of the Ashtabula County Department of Environmental Services is to provide safe, reliable, and healthy drinking water to the customers served by County Water System and to ensure sanitary sewerage is treated to ensure proper environmental stewardship. The County Water System is responsible to the operation and maintenance of approximately 140 miles of water distribution lines, 7 booster pumping stations, and 4 storage tanks which serve over 5,350 customers. Sanitary sewerage operation include approximately 70 miles of collection sewer mains, 4 wastewater treatment plants, and 29 pumping stations, serving over 3,750 customers.
